Jillian Rosenberg is a graduate student in the Cancer Biology program at the University of Chicago. She is a member of Jun Huang's lab working at the intersection of cancer biology, immunology, and engineering to study the interactions of cancer cells and immune cells at the single molecule to single cell level. Jill loves traveling, going to concerts, exploring Chicago, and all things New Orleans!

Luyi Cheng is a graduate student in the Interdisciplinary Biological Sciences (IBiS) program at Northwestern University. She works in Professor Julius Lucks' lab where she studies RNA structures and how they fold during the process of transcription. Outside of lab, she enjoys running by the lake, going to concerts, and trying out new cooking and baking recipes.
|
Clare Harper is a graduate student in the Interdisciplinary Biological Sciences (IBiS) program at Northwestern University. She designs biotechnology tools to study mitochondria function in Professor Laura Lackner’s lab. Her favorite science experience was researching sea turtle feeding habits in the Galapagos Islands. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, going to the beach, and playing with her cats.

Manisha Krishnan is a graduate student in the Cancer Biology program at the University of Chicago. She works in Dr. Megan McNerney's lab and study the regulation and function of CUX1 isoforms in hematopoiesis and hematological malignancies. In her free time, she likes dancing, performing with her grad student a cappella group, The Histones, reading, and biking the Lakeshore Trail in the summer!

Liliana M. Hernandez Gonzalez is a graduate student in Environmental Engineering at Northwestern University working with Dr. Aaron Packman and Dr. William M. Miller. She is from Puerto Rico, where she graduated from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez (UPRM) with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering. Her research focuses on determining the ecological resilience of urban green spaces in the Chicago metropolitan area and their benefits for stormwater retention using a distributed high-frequency sensing network. In her spare time, Liliana enjoys reading, traveling, being involved in outreach events, and doing outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking.

Elizabeth White is a graduate student in the Biophysical Science program at the University of Chicago. She works with Professors Aaron Dinner and Norbert Scherer, studying how vesicles (packages of proteins and RNA) are transported through cells. Specifically, she’s using machine learning to improve our ability to track the objects as they move through videos. Outside of research, Elizabeth likes to bake, listen to music, and read.

Devin Harrison is a PhD Student in Biophysics at the University of Chicago. She studies how forces within the body influence blood vessels and immune cells in the labs of Yun Fang, PhD and Jun Huang, Phd. Outside of lab, she loves teaching, running, hiking, and eating all the different foods Chicago has to offer!
